So another Australian summer is over, and its getting closer to the time where we crave to sit on the couch with hot tea with our favourite knits. So I am currently searching for those in between outfits (warm during the day, cold at night).
I have already started searching….
Mr & Mare
These items are high on my wish list. I actually bought the country road top, and I haven’t taken it off since I made the purchase. It goes with everything in my wardrobe!!
So it’s that time of year again… Hollywood awards season, which basically means I sit there for hours a day looking at all the different styles of dresses and listen to Joan Rivers (who I adore) be so honest about each outfit, the stars can only laugh.
Anyway, here are a few of my favourites from the 2014 Golden Globes:
The new Amber Heard aka. Mr Depp’s new lady, looked absolutely amazing in this wonderful navy number from Versace. I also couldn’t stop looking at all the detail on Emilia Clarke’s (Game of Thrones), and lastly Lupida Nyong’s choice of the Ralph Lauren dress in red, looked amazing against the red carpet. Also adored the cape on Lupida’s dress, very Gwyneth!
Worst (in my opinion):
I’m sorry but I know Drew was pregnant with her second child, but the choice of the foral number was really a dress that flattered her baby bump! Another dress I really could not understand was Kaley Cuoco’s dress. I’m sorry but Kaley’s dress reminded me of an iPad cover i was thinking about getting, and her print would look better on a cushion rather than a ball gown. And lastly, Recce… I dont get it, just a bit plain for my liking..
Favourite Australian Actress for the night. Hands down it would have to be Margot Robbie in a lovely white Gucci number. Fell in love with her dress over and over again.. #wishlist
I also have a few dresses, I am very undecided about. I have left it up to you guys to give me your comments on the dresses below.
Happy Tuesday people! Hope we are all enjoying the cold snap we are currently experiencing in Melbourne!
I came across this wonder of a top from Fresh Soul (available here). This is one of those tops you can pair with anything. You can wear it for work, for fun, for a wedding (with a cute pencil skirt), or even just on weekends with a cute pair of jeans.
Whatever way you choose to wear the top, it is a love of mine and its already on my wishlist.
I am love with animal prints this season, and you always seem to be wearing either a leopard print t-shirt, handbag or even a phone cover. I am even loving this trend so much I got my kitty cat a leopard print collar!
But since the trend is so popular, the prints are now even appearing on many cushion covers and throw rugs. This is a cheap and effective way to update a room without having to worry about purchasing new furniture. and the best part is that the trend won’t be disappearing too quickly so these accessories will be around for a while.
Thats right folks! It’s that time of year where the stars spend a lot of their time texting their stylists to ensure they don’t end up on the worst dressed list.
This year we saw we saw lace, colour and mermaid tails on the red carpet this year. Sarah Hyland below, which in my opinion is just stunning and one of the best dressed for the night. And it’s hard to believe that Sarah is only 22.
Here are a few other favourites on the night.
One of my favourite couples of the evening was Lauren Parsekian and Aaron Paul also known as Jesse Pinkman for those Breaking Bad fans out there.
Can’t wait to see what the WAGS are going to wear at the brownlow’s tonight.. and more importantly how Bec Judd will be styling her baby bump.
